Job description
Perform and support API 581 quantitative RBI assessments.
Develop and update RBI assessments for static equipment and piping.
Validate RBI risk results and develop inspection strategies/plans.
Maintain RBI systems and support RBI evergreening.
Review inspection/NDT data and identify degradation trends.
Develop corrosion loops, equipment groupings, piping circuits and dead-leg registers.
Support PRD RBI, dead-leg RBI/TM and WSI development.
Support turnaround planning and inspection work packages.
Facilitate RBI workshops with relevant technical teams.
Maintain data quality and ensure RBI information is accurately reflected in APM/integrity-management systems.
Prepare RBI reports, dashboards and technical documentation.
Support knowledge transfer and training of client engineers.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 7–8 years of relevant RBI / asset integrity experience.
Experience working directly with or supporting an operating refinery or petrochemical facility.
API 580 certification is mandatory.
Hands-on experience conducting quantitative API 581 RBI assessments using RBI software.
Practical experience with GE APM / GE Meridium, preferably Inspection Management and Thickness Monitoring modules.
Strong knowledge of:
Static equipment and piping integrity
Inspection practices
Corrosion and damage mechanisms
Corrosion loops and piping circuits
Dead-leg identification
Risk assessment and inspection planning
Written Schemes of Inspection (WSI)
Ability to review and validate inspection findings, NDT records, RBI results and degradation trends.
Experience with RBI implementation, sustainment and evergreening.
Ability to support turnaround inspection scope and work-pack preparation.
Experience with RBI workshops, data validation, reporting and dashboard development.
Ability to coordinate with Inspection, Corrosion, Process, Operations, Maintenance and NDT teams.
Ability to provide RBI knowledge transfer and training to client engineers.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on GE APM / GE Meridium experience.
Additional API, NACE or AMPP certifications relevant to static equipment integrity.
Experience with SAP/CMMS or other integrity-management systems.
Experience in refinery/petrochemical asset integrity projects.
